Description: Mapa temático que representa la distribución de las características de los suelos determinadas mediante el levantamiento semidetallado en las cuencas priorizadas en el Plan de Acción 2016 – 2019, y 2020 - 2023 por la Corporación Autónoma Regional del Valle del Cauca (CVC), a escala 1:25.000. Suministra información importante acerca del agrupamiento de las unidades cartográficas de suelos, fundamentada en los efectos combinados de clima y limitaciones permanentes o poco modificables de los suelos, con el fin de establecer sus posibilidades de uso y la capacidad de producción, el riesgo de deterioro y requerimientos de manejo.Define las unidades cartográficas de capacidad de uso de las tierras con sus respectivos componentes como son: clase, subclase, características, limitantes, usos recomendados.

Las instituciones no cederán, no comercializarán, no otorgarán a título de préstamo la información geográfica digital y análoga suministrada por el Instituto.
